People often ask me, and I frequently reflect on it myself… ‘Why do I choose to focus my agency’s efforts on non-profit and some for-profit brands that qualify as ‘impact-driven’ organizations?’ Well it’s quite simple. Nearly all of them have an incredible ‘passion’ for what they do, often bridging their personal motivations and professional pursuits. In most of these cases there is also the ‘purpose’ in knowing why they commit themselves to the greater good. But very few tend to have the clarity or roadmap for the path forward. How do we grow this? Scale this? Impact as many people as possible? It’s common to have at least one of these aspirational qualities when building a business or brand, but to have all three? That’s where I believe WE can have the most impact and bring our strengths to the table. Our contribution is to help align that optimal constellation of purpose, passion, AND clarity empowering these organizations to have the greatest impact in as many lives as possible. Because isn’t that what real success means?

Finding Purpose Amidst the Hustle

So often we get caught up in our day-to-day lives and we forget what we’re fighting for. We forget why we got into this in the first place. We get lost in the hustle and grind and we lose sight of our purpose-driven goals. There are various methods to help you think and act smarter, not harder, and doing so helps you to remain focused. When we are focused, take a step back and remember WHY we’re doing what we’re doing, it gives us the strength to keep going. It gives us the power to push through the tough times and the setbacks.

We’ve all been there – feeling stuck in a rut, going through the motions day in and day out, not really sure what our purpose is anymore. It’s easy to lose sight of what we’re passionate about when we’re bogged down by the day-to-day grind. But it’s important to remember that we all have the power to change our situations and create a life that feels purposeful and meaningful. At its core, empowering purpose-driven people and organizations is about helping people tap into their passions and talents to create positive change in the world. When we’re doing work that we love and that aligns with our values, we have the potential to make a real impact.

We’re also more likely to feel fulfilled and motivated, which can lead to greater success both personally and professionally. There are many ways to empower purpose-driven individuals and organizations. One, is to provide resources and opportunities for people to connect with their passions. This might include things like providing clarity (brand blueprint), education and empowering (our clients) rather than just mindlessly executing or mentoring (interns/pro-bono work), 1% for the planet, etc. It could also involve creating space for people to share their stories and connect with others who are on a similar journey.

When we’re doing work that we’re passionate about, we can’t help but feel more engaged and excited about the future. We believe that everyone has the power to make a difference, and it’s our hope that by empowering others, we can make the world a better place with our mindful marketing. We believe in helping them realize and execute upon their fullest potential, because we know that when people are operating from a place of passion and purpose, they have the ability to change the world.
